Today is the beginning of our journey.
9:00 P.M. (GMT +8), we all assembled @ TPE airport.
We took lots of photos. I have a feeling that each photo contains the blessing from our parents.
Maybe that's why people like to take a photo before they saying goodbye.
This is not my first time to be here.
However, with different partners, everything seems different and unfamiliar.
Someone says that U.S. is a strict country when they checking the passengers entering U.S..
Luckily, nothing happened to me.
When we got to the terminal gate of Tom Bradley International Terminal, our cute senior comes and chatting with us. I think they are so nice that they stay with us and waiting for whole check in process.
Ariel and her husband came to meet us |
After saying goodbye to our senior, I bought an apple pie and a cup of coffee. They cost me 10.66$, how expensive......though delicious.

Delicious apple pie and so-so coffee |
As a professional Taiwanese, the first thing we did after landing is checking in on the FB.
Although there is free wifi connection in the airport, it only offer 30 mins connection.
Since there still has 7 hrs to wait, we Belize group had no choice but can only wandering around and seeking for wifi hotspots (Yeah, that's right! We are such the phobbers!).
Two men who are looking for Wi-fi but not dishes |
The food is ok (consider the fact that it located in the airport.), but we was actually buying their internet, not food, so we didn't mind if its food is good or not.

Perhaps it is good, but I don't like it |
During our meal, we heard loud music and the noise of crowd, so we went out to have a look.
It doesn't take too long for us to realize that there is a group filming a MV or Movie.

That's pretty cooooool!!! I've never seen something like this.
After our lunch, we went looking for some souvenir.
A cigar shop? It could be our top choice!
The shop called "HABANA Cigar" and they do sell lots of different cigar.
Although I never smoke, I still want to buy a cigar as the souvenir of El Salvador.
We are not familiar with the brands of cigar, so we asked the clerk to give us some advice.
At last, we bought the classic one, which contain 6 small cigar.

The photo I took 2 month after I bought it |
We keep wandered around and decide to buy some drink for ourselves. Since Ernie told me that liquor in Belize will be much expensive than in el Salvador, I bought a bottle of Tequila (Añejo Patrón) without hesitation (Well, I actually hesitated XD). Surprisingly, its price is unbelievable cheap!!!!! Only 50 $ US / bottle.
The flight soon took us to Belize. It was a rainy day, and I cannot believe that they don't even have a jet bridge. The weather just as humid as which in Taiwan.....
When we passed the custom, our technician, Orlando Li, and the manager of Aquaculture had already been there waiting for us.
That night, we were invited to have the dinner with ambassador Ho at Narie's Restaurant, which according to the ambassador is the best local restaurant.
I had stew beef with rice and been as my dinner. I think it taste pretty good. The conch ceviche is amazing good. I never ate a conch before, and it really taste nice, and the dish is very fresh and light.
After the meal, we headed to UB dorm, Belmopan. It took us one hours to get there.
At that time, we were totally tired out. The only thing I want to do is sleep.
However, the GOD won't give you only 4 difficulties. This year should be quintuple year!! right?
What the most tragic thing is that we don't have hot water........
Well, the poor internet connection could be ranked in second place.
But I believe it will take over the first place after we get used to the cold shower.
Anyway, at least we got a room to rest....ZZZZZZ
